EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

The City of Thornton is accepting applications for a part-time maintenance position. Duties include, but are not limited to: mowing, trimming, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, sweeping, snow removal, garbage pickup and other maintenance duties as assigned.

The applicant must be at least 18 years of age, speak and read fluent English, and have a valid Iowa driver’s license and CDL preferred. A CDL will be required within 6 months. Experience in grounds maintenance is preferred.

This is a part-time, seasonal position Monday – Friday with a minimum of 10 hours a week. Compensation will be based on duties and experience.
